Psychotherapist

What brings us to therapy can often be felt acutely while seemingly resisting our attempts to describe it. This might look like persistent anxiety, a sense of disconnection, or patterns in relationships that feel difficult to change. While therapy can at times be a difficult undertaking, it is also a courageous one that can empower us to create and align more neatly with our authentic selves. It is a journey of care, creativity, and wonder that invites joy and levity just as much as it does solemn introspection.

As a therapist, it is my goal to foster a space of respectful curiosity and openness where we can explore the terrain of your life. My intention is to honor your commitment for self-examination and growth by creating a space where you feel safe to explore your experiences openly. My approach is relational and depth oriented, meaning we pay close attention to patterns in your relationships—including the one we build together—and explore how past experiences may be shaping your present.

Holding graduate degrees in philosophy and comparative literature, I appreciate integrating the wisdom found within these disciplines in a way that does not abstract away from the task of being present with the self. I have previously taught high school history, helping students across the socioeconomic spectrum navigate both academic and social pressures, and am familiar with the stress students face in their transition to collegiate life.

I've enjoyed living in St. Paul since 2020, and spent my years prior in California, Oregon, and New York. In my free time I enjoy reading literature, cycling during the warmer months, and maintaining my yoga and Brazilian jiu jitsu practices.

I am currently completing a Master’s in Counseling and Psychological Services at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and practice under the supervision of Dr. Alexa Fetzer and Dr. Oliver Ross.
