SAINT PAUL
PSYCHOTHERAPY

Chris Soper
Psychotherapist, JD
My approach to psychotherapy is grounded in the belief that meaningful change comes with increased self-awareness. My goal is to support you in gaining a deeper understanding of your thoughts and feelings, changing habitual patterns that may cause distress, and exploring your values and aspirations to lead a more fulfilling life.

I aim to establish a warm, caring, and collaborative therapeutic relationship with you—one in which you feel safe to explore both your struggles and your hopes as you seek greater insight, healing, and personal growth. Together, we can uncover the unconscious motivations and patterns that shape our lives. By bringing this unconscious material into conscious awareness, we can begin to address unresolved issues, heal emotional wounds, and create space for growth.

My background in law lends an analytic dimension to my work, allowing me to engage with complexity and nuance in my clients’ inner worlds. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my young children. I also love to play basketball, golf, tennis, and piano.

I am currently supervised by Dr. Oliver Ross while pursuing a Master’s in Counseling Psychology at the University of St. Thomas.
