SAINT PAUL
PSYCHOTHERAPY

Mark Hantla
Psychotherapist
Often, a deep sense that something is missing brings us to therapy—something we long for, even if we can’t name it. I invite you to trust that feeling and take the brave step of reaching out. In our work together, we’ll explore your past and present with curiosity and compassion, helping you better understand yourself and uncover new ways to navigate life’s challenges.

My therapeutic approach is built upon several core beliefs. Firstly, I believe that healing takes place within the context of a safe and caring connection. Secondly, I see growth emerging from moments of vulnerability and thoughtful self-examination. Finally, I understand that meaningful change encompasses both the process of releasing what no longer serves you and actively choosing what truly holds significance in your life.

I have a particular interest in working with individuals facing self-doubt, uncertainty, attachment and relationship concerns, depression, and anxiety. Drawing from psychodynamic, existential, and narrative traditions, I support clients in exploring their values, making meaning, and finding purpose.

Originally from Western Iowa, I moved to the Twin Cities in 2020 and have enjoyed making it home. I'm a pre-licensed therapist practicing under the supervision of Dr. Oliver Ross. Outside of my work, I often enjoy biking the city’s trails, making music with others, and spending time with friends around tabletop roleplaying games.
