SAINT PAUL
PSYCHOTHERAPY
Justin Julson
Psychotherapist, MA, LADC
I believe therapy should be a collaborative process that feels safe and supportive. I am committed to showing up to every session with curiosity and compassion. My therapeutic approach emphasizes the importance of relationships and emotional connection for our overall well being. Healing begins when we feel deeply seen and understood. Within the therapeutic relationship, we will work together to explore your life experiences and uncover relational patterns that may be holding you back so you can live more authentically. My therapeutic approach incorporates emotional processing, mindfulness, somatic psychotherapy and psychodynamic theories. I work with adolescents and adults needing support in addressing life transitions, relational issues, anxiety, depression, substance use issues, self-esteem, and trauma.
I grew-up in western Wisconsin and have been a resident of Saint Paul since 2012. I have experience working in outpatient substance use treatment centers, medically assisted treatment (MAT), case management and in outpatient mental health.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, reading, exploring the outdoors, and sitting quietly on our back porch with a hot cup of coffee.
I am a pre-licensed therapist working under the licensed supervision of Dr. Oliver Ross. I look forward to the possibility of working with you and please reach out if you have any questions.
