Pre-licensed Psychologist, PhD

To me, therapy is the deeply human act of two people coming together to bear witness to a story—your story. It offers a relationship where you can practice new ways of being with yourself and others. At its core, therapy is a confessional space to share the secrets of your soul and discover that what you find there is worthy of compassion.

I work well with people who are curious about themselves and ready to explore deeper questions. Many of my patients have spent years feeling disconnected from themselves or others. They may struggle with depression, trauma, shame, low self-esteem, difficult relationships, emptiness, or a feeling of entrapment. Others come with questions about faith or spirituality that don’t fit neatly into traditional conversations.

My approach is relational and deeply curious. Together, we’ll pay attention to your relationships (including the relationship we build), your history, the patterns that repeat throughout your life, your identity and sense of belonging, and the ways you have learned to survive. We’ll also strive to understand how you have been shaped by both your personal experiences and the relational, cultural, and historical worlds you move through. Rather than focusing simply on symptoms, I want to understand the story beneath them. I believe that through that process, you will discover greater freedom to live differently than you have before.

Whether you are seeking relief from suffering or a deeper understanding of yourself, my hope is to offer a relationship where you feel deeply known, gently challenged, and accepted without condition.

Outside the therapy room, I enjoy moving slowly, reading in coffee shops, paddling on lakes with my family, and writing stories. By temperament, I am serious, calm, deep-feeling, and a bit awkward.

If something here resonates with you, I invite you to reach out and we’ll decide together if we’re a good therapy team.

I am a pre-licensed psychologist practicing under the supervision of Dr. Oliver Ross and Dr. Alexa Fetzer.
