Psychotherapist
I believe that therapy is for everyone. It is a space to lean into curiosity and build understanding of yourself and the ways that you choose to engage in the world. Therapy is an opportunity for realization that can create moments of growth, understanding, and healing. I aim to create a space that honors each person who enters and invites consideration of the person they have been and wish to become. Every session is unique to the individual client and the situation that motivates them. This is a space where you can explore what is going on in your life—emotionally, mentally, and socially—in a way that feels honest and supportive. I invite you to begin the therapy experience whether you are entering with stress, sadness, confusion, relationship struggles, or simply feeling stuck.

My approach to therapy is collaborative and utilizes present-moment experiences to call attention to relational and emotional patterns. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the strongest tool in the room. We will work together to discover what healing looks like for you, in your own context. While each client is different, we will pay attention to how relationships, attachments, and identity shape how you view yourself and your experiences. This might look like spending time considering your past experiences, current feelings, and bigger questions such as “What really matters to me?” or “Who do I wish to be in the world?”. I see the therapeutic process as being a conscious pursuit of self-discovery that allows for connection, healing, and change. While you may find that therapy can be challenging at times, I ask that you enter each session with curiosity of what might be uncovered along the way. My hope is that you find therapy can be empowering as often as it is challenging.

My background includes experiences in applied behavioral analysis, research on transportation accessibility, case management, and anti-racist community education. I enjoy working with clients of all backgrounds and identities. Areas of focus include life transitions, college aged youth, complex trauma, and individuals or partners of those navigating immigration.

I grew up in the St. Louis area (Cardinals and Blues forever!!) but originally came to Minnesota in 2017. In my personal time, I enjoy live music, reading, travel, trying new recipes, exploring restaurants throughout the Twin Cities, searching for the coffee shop with the best London Fog (still searching…), and spending time with my family.

I am currently working under the licensed supervision of Dr. Alexa Fetzer while pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at St. Cloud State University.
